ADRIANA LEIGH (she/her)
Founder and Principal Consultant
Adriana draws on a unique blend of 19+ years of diverse global experience as a workplace human rights lawyer and facilitator in gender equality, the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment, and gender-based violence prevention and diversity and inclusion. She has vast experience working nationally and internationally with the United Nations, universities as well as the non-profit and private sector.
Prior to her consulting work, Adriana spent several years as a human rights lawyer specializing in workplace discrimination and sexual harassment and taught Women and the Law at the University of Ottawa. Adriana previously held the position of Director, Organizational Wellness at Homewood Health, developing workplace solutions in areas including gender diversity, sexual harassment, and workplace mental health. In addition, she worked with Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education leading development of gender equality action planning and international guidelines and protocols to prevent sexual and gender-based violence.
GONCHA SADAYEVA (she/her)
Project Management & Strategic Partnerships
With a passion for driving impactful change and fostering strategic partnerships, Goncha has been a pivotal force at ALG Consulting since 2021. As a dedicated Project and Strategic Partnerships Manager, she excels in developing comprehensive project scopes and reporting timelines, organizational management, and crafting stakeholder engagement plans that lay the foundation for successful consulting endeavors.
Her keen understanding of ALG client needs, coupled with her adeptness at building and maintaining strategic partnerships, has been instrumental in understanding project requirements and ensuring client satisfaction. Among her notable achievements is her integral role in supporting the preparation of the UN Women Empowerment Principles Manual in 2023, underscoring her commitment to advancing gender equality and empowerment, and further solidifying her reputation as a leader in driving meaningful change in EDI initiatives.
Goncha holds a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Waterloo, with a specialization in Sustainable Development. She is PMP Certified and highly committed to leveraging her expertise in project management methodologies and sustainable practices to oversee complex initiatives that foster innovation and create a lasting impact.
LAURENCE DANIS (she/her)
Brand Marketing and Visual Content Designer
Eager to partake in the creation of safer workspaces and diversified company cultures, Laurence joined the DEI community in 2020. As the Brand Marketing and Visual Content Designer, she has been instrumental in giving visual representation to ALG Consulting’s projects, concepts and services since 2021.
Her conceptual skills and eye for detail allow her to create memorable user experiences in various digital mediums. Through revamping the ALG Consulting website and social media campaigns, she has helped finetune the brand identity, ensuring clear communication channels with collaborators and clients.
Laurence completed her MBA from McGill University in 2020 with a double concentration in Marketing and Global Strategy & Leadership, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from Mount Allison University. She is thrilled to have the ability to combine her passions to help drive more inclusive workforces and to be part of DEI initiatives within the Canadian landscape.

She was the brainchild behind The Neeti Project which has transformed into Imaara Survivor Support Foundation, an NGO that works towards sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention and supporting individuals who have endured trauma.
